Celebrating over a year since their thirteenth studio album, Aghori Mhori Mei, The Smashing Pumpkins are stirring excitement with their forthcoming single, “Chrome Jets.” Offering a sneak peek of this new track, the band exclusively shared a snippet through Chicago’s Q101. This marks the group’s first release since Aghori Mhori Mei in August 2024, featuring hit singles such as “Sighommi” and “Who Goes There.” The album secured its place on the Billboard 200 and reached No. 26 on the Top Rock Albums chart.

The Smashing Pumpkins’ musical journey is characterized by their distinct influence and impact on alternative music. Originating in Chicago in 1988, the band has sold over 30 million albums globally and received prestigious accolades, including two GRAMMY® Awards, seven MTV VMAs, and an American Music Award.
