Def Leppard is gearing up to drop their latest concert film, Diamond Star Heroes Live from Sheffield, on November 21. This thrilling live album and concert film capture the band’s incredible performance at Bramall Lane Stadium in Sheffield, England, back in May. The show was in support of their 2022 album, Diamond Star Halos, and featured 17 electrifying songs, including the live European premieres of “Take What You Want,” “This Guitar,” and “Kick.” The touching tribute to late co-founder Steve Clark, “This Guitar,” was also performed during the show.

Taking to Instagram, Def Leppard shared, “On May 22, 2023, 47 years after their birth, Def Leppard returned to Sheffield for a sold-out Bramall Lane stadium show of 40,000 fans.” This release marks the band’s first foray into the visually stunning 4K UHD format. Fans will have the option to purchase the concert film as a deluxe two-CD/Blu-ray set, on vinyl with red, white, and black splatter, or as a standalone Blu-ray, with the vinyl colors paying homage to Sheffield United’s traditional colors.

The Blu-ray release of Diamond Star Heroes Live from Sheffield also offers bonus content, including a special warm-up show at The Leadmill that showcased the band in rare form. This performance served as the kickoff to their extensive world tour with Mötley Crüe just days later.

As 2025 draws to a close, Def Leppard will wrap up the year with a grand finale in Gary, Indiana, on October 11. Looking ahead to 2026, the band has an exciting lineup of events planned, including a 12-night residency at The Colosseum, Caesars Palace, from February 3 through February 28. Come summer, they will embark on a European tour with Extreme, starting in Rättvik, Sweden on June 13 and concluding with a show in Dubai on August 2.

Lead singer Joe Elliott hinted at the band’s upcoming 13th studio album, currently in the works. Set to be released in 2026, the new tracks are expected to continue the musical journey initiated by Diamond Star Halos. Fans can already pre-order the album or secure tickets to upcoming shows through the Def Leppard website.
