Lamb of God Releases New Single “Sepsis” – Rock Band Drops Latest Track

Lamb of God, prominent figures in modern metal music, have recently unveiled a fresh single titled “Sepsis,” marking their first release since the critically acclaimed 2022 album “Omens.” Produced by the band’s long-time collaborator Josh Wilbur, this new track was released through Epic Records. Accompanied by a gritty, lo-fi performance video that offers a raw look at Richmond’s local scene, “Sepsis” is a three-and-a-half-minute homage to underground bands that influenced the group during their early days.

Mark Morton, a member of Lamb of God, shared that “Sepsis” pays tribute to the underground bands in Richmond that the band admired while forming their roots, citing bands like Breadwinner, Sliang Laos, and Ladyfinger. The track provides a direct connection to the band’s formative years and the local music scene that shaped their sound.

This release comes in the midst of a significant year for Lamb of God, who celebrated their 25th anniversary, performed at the “Back to the Beginning” concert, and unveiled a powerful rendition of Black Sabbath’s “Children of the Grave.” They also appeared at various festivals like Inkcarceration and Louder Than Life and headlined a show at Richmond’s Allianz Amphitheater.

Looking ahead, Lamb of God has a busy schedule, with performances lined up at festivals like Aftershock, AMMA Championship Fest, and their upcoming Headbangers Boat cruise.
