Japanese idol metal band BABYMETAL and American singer-songwriter Poppy have come together once again to release the official live video for their collaborative song, “from me to u.” The track, which serves as the opening song on BABYMETAL’s latest album, METAL FORTH, draws inspiration from Karuho Shiina’s manga series, “Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You.”

Featured recently in an episode of Marvel Zombies, “from me to u” showcases a unique blend of BABYMETAL’s operatic pop-infused kawaii metal sound with Poppy’s industrial-tinged nightmare metalcore style. The live performance featured in the new video was captured during their concert at London’s O2 Arena on May 30th. Fans can watch the full video below, with a notable moment at 1:36 where Poppy appears to be thoroughly enjoying herself.

Looking ahead, BABYMETAL is set to return to the United States for a performance at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California, and will also join My Chemical Romance on tour in August 2026. Meanwhile, Poppy’s career is on the rise as she wraps up her “They’re All Around Us” tour in support of her acclaimed album, “Negative Spaces.” Following this, she will hit the road with Linkin Park for the South American leg of their “From Zero Tour.”

As their respective tours continue, fans can catch BABYMETAL at various stops across the US, including El Paso, TX, and Dallas, TX, while Poppy’s schedule includes performances in cities such as Bogota, Lima, Buenos Aires, and more. Please note that a few dates on Poppy’s tour supporting Avenged Sevenfold have been postponed due to ongoing vocal issues faced by M. Shadows.
