Rod Stewart, Ronnie Wood, and Kenney Jones, the surviving members of the iconic Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band Faces, are currently collaborating on a brand-new album for fans to enjoy. In a recent interview with The Telegraph, Jones revealed that the trio has already recorded approximately 11 tracks for the upcoming album. While he acknowledged that most of the tracks are promising, he also mentioned that not every song may make the final cut for the album.

Jones hinted that the album may not be released in 2025 but expressed optimism that fans could anticipate its release sometime in the coming year. He shed light on the sporadic nature of the recording process, explaining, “Everyone’s doing different things. We do little snippets [of recording] here and there. Then all of a sudden, The Stones are out [on tour] again, Rod’s out again…”

The last album released by Faces dates back to 1973 with “Ooh La La,” and the band’s most recent piece of music is the elaborately titled “You Can Make Me Dance, Sing or Anything (Even Take the Dog for a Walk, Mend a Fuse, Fold Away the Ironing Board, or Any Other Domestic Shortcomings).” Interestingly, Ronnie Wood had previously disclosed in July 2021 that he was collaborating on new music with his Faces bandmates while also working on material for the 40th anniversary reissue of the Rolling Stones’ “Tattoo You.”

In an interview with U.K.’s The Times, Wood excitedly shared, “Me and Mick [Jagger] have done nine new tracks for the [40th anniversary] re-release of ‘Tattoo You.’ And me, Rod, and Kenney have been recording some new Faces music.” Wood conveyed his enthusiasm for the creative projects he has been involved in recently, emphasizing the significance of cherishing every moment within the realm of rock ‘n’ roll.

The prospect of new music from such legendary musicians as Stewart, Wood, and Jones undoubtedly has fans eagerly awaiting the release of their latest collaborative effort.
