Haim sisters make comeback with new album “Relationships”

Los Angeles trio HAIM, made up of sisters Este, Danielle, and Alana Haim, have made an impactful comeback with their latest single and video, Relationships. The song delves into probing questions about the dynamic nature of relationships as the sisters navigate the complexities of emotions elicited by changing connections. Premiering on BBC Radio 1 as the Hottest Record, Relationships stands as the first release from the band’s much-anticipated fourth studio album, details of which are yet to be revealed. Collaborating with producer Rostam Batmanglij and Danielle Haim, the track, filled with the group’s signature blend of genres, diverges from the rock-infused sound anticipated in the upcoming album.

The music video stars HAIM alongside actor Drew Starkey and is directed by Camille Summers-Valli.

In 2021, HAIM’s third album, Women In Music Pt. III, soared to the top spot on the UK Album chart, marking the band’s second time achieving this honor. The same year, they clinched their inaugural BRIT Award for International Group, making history as the first all-female rock group to earn a GRAMMY® Album of The Year nomination with Women In Music Pt. III. The album was met with widespread critical acclaim, debuting at the summit of the U.S. Album Sales chart, in addition to the Rock and Alternative charts.

Known for their vibrant live performances, HAIM has graced stages worldwide at various headline shows and festivals such as Glastonbury, Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Bonnaroo. The band is scheduled to perform at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival on April 27th, as well as the Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona on June 6th and Portugal on June 14th.
