Join us on May 10th, 2025, as the Indianola Fire Department, Indianola Firefighters Association, and Indianola Noon Lions Club come together for a delightful pancake breakfast at the fire station. This cherished tradition is a favorite among families of all ages, offering an unlimited supply of pancakes and sausage. Complementing the meal are refreshing options like coffee, juice, and milk.

The event will be held at the Indianola Fire Department located at 110 N. 1st Street. Scheduled from 7:00 am to 11:00 am, attendees are encouraged to make a free-will donation, with a suggested amount of $5 per person. The funds raised will go towards purchasing a Neomate infant restraint system, as highlighted by Indianola Fire Chief Aaron Hurt who emphasized the importance of this investment. Chief Hurt expressed that this equipment on each of their medic units significantly bolsters their ability to cater to the needs of their most vulnerable patients, particularly infants and toddlers, during emergency situations. The addition of this system is a small gesture with a significant impact, ensuring the highest standard of care for the youngest members of their community.

This annual event is not just a fundraiser but also an opportunity for the Indianola community to come together, interact, and show support for their local firefighters, first responders, and Lions Club members. It provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere for individuals to share a meal, connect with neighbors, and contribute to a meaningful cause.

Mark your calendars for this upcoming date and plan to join us at the Indianola Fire Department for a morning of delicious food, community spirit, and charitable giving. Your participation and generosity will make a difference in the lives of those in need, reinforcing the values of compassion, unity, and support within the Indianola community. Don’t miss out on this chance to enjoy a hearty breakfast while making a positive impact on the well-being of your community. See you there on May 10th!
