Beat Saber, the popular VR game, is marking seven years since its original launch with a special celebration. To commemorate this milestone, a new track titled “Danger” has been released for free to all existing owners of the game. The new track features a collaboration between Teminite and Boom Kitty, who previously worked together on “The Master” for OST 7 last year.

“Danger” can be accessed in the ‘Extras’ library of Beat Saber and includes an anniversary-themed environment, Arc and Chain notes, and the Variable Note Jump Speed feature. This new track release comes shortly after Beat Saber’s early access launch on Steam on May 1, 2018. The game later became available on PSVR in the same year, followed by a full release in 2019 as a launch title for Quest 1.

Since its original launch, Beat Saber has received numerous updates and additions, such as a port to PlayStation VR2, new features like 120Hz support on Quest 3, and additional music tracks. One notable addition to the game was Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” which was released in February. This track garnered attention due to its release during Lamar’s highly publicized feud with Canadian rapper Drake.

In addition to Kendrick Lamar’s track, Beat Saber also introduced a Metallica DLC pack in December, featuring 17 songs from the iconic heavy metal band, including hits like “One” and “Master of Puppets.” The continuous updates and new content releases have kept players engaged and excited about the game.

The release of “Danger” marks another milestone for Beat Saber and its dedicated community of players. The track is now available on Quest, Steam, and PlayStation VR2, allowing players on various platforms to enjoy the new music and gameplay experience. As the game continues to evolve and expand, fans can look forward to more updates and surprises in the future.

Overall, Beat Saber’s seventh-anniversary celebration with the release of “Danger” showcases the game’s enduring popularity and commitment to providing exciting new content for players. With its mix of music, rhythm, and VR gameplay, Beat Saber remains a standout title in the VR gaming landscape.
