Dream Theater has recently announced a highly anticipated 30-date fall tour across the United States. The band, known for their innovative and groundbreaking music, will be performing their latest album, Parasomnia, in its entirety at each stop on the tour. In addition to this special performance, fans can also expect to hear some of their favorite Dream Theater classics during the shows.

Parasomnia marks a significant moment for the band as it is the first album to feature the classic lineup of James LaBrie on vocals, John Petrucci on guitar, John Myung on bass, Jordan Rudess on keyboards, and Mike Portnoy on drums since their 2009 release, Black Clouds & Silver Linings. Portnoy’s return to the band in 2023 after a 13-year absence has been a momentous occasion for both the band and their dedicated fan base.

The tour is set to kick off on September 5 in Reading, Pennsylvania, with subsequent performances scheduled for Baltimore on September 6, North Charleston, South Carolina on September 9, and Clearwater, Florida on September 10. Dream Theater will continue their journey through the southern states with a concert in Orlando on September 12, followed by back-to-back performances in Atlanta on September 13 and 14.

Mid-September will see the band making stops in Charlotte, North Carolina on September 16, as well as Pittsburgh on September 18. On September 19, Dream Theater is scheduled to perform at the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville. The tour will then move through the Midwest, with shows in Detroit, Peoria, Milwaukee, and Minneapolis, before heading west to Colorado Springs on September 29.

As October rolls around, Dream Theater will make appearances at the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento on the 3rd, followed by performances in Oceanside and Long Beach, California on October 4 and 5 respectively. The southwestern leg of the tour will include shows in Mesa, Arizona, and El Paso, Texas on October 7 and 8. After a brief break, the band will return to the stage in Tulsa on October 11, with subsequent performances in Kansas City and Chesterfield, Missouri on October 13 and 14.

The final stretch of the tour will see Dream Theater making stops in Hammond, Indiana, Columbus, and Syracuse, New York on October 17, 18, and 20 respectively. The New England region can look forward to performances in Providence, Rhode Island, and Schenectady, New York on October 22 and 23 before the tour culminates in a homecoming show at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York on October 25.

Dream Theater tickets for this highly anticipated tour will go on sale on May 23, giving fans the opportunity to secure their spot at these unforgettable shows. This tour promises to be a memorable experience for all fans of progressive metal music and Dream Theater enthusiasts alike.
