Cate Le Bon reveals upcoming album ‘Michelangelo Dying’ with tour dates – Music and Show information
Welsh indie rock musician Cate Le Bon is set to release her seventh studio album, titled Michelangelo Dying, this autumn. Scheduled to drop on September 26 through Mexican Summer, the album is highly anticipated by fans. The first single from the album, “Heaven Is No Feeling,” comes accompanied by a music video directed by H. Hawkline. The director provided insights into the creative process behind the visuals, stating, “There are moments in life you can’t make up, that seem unfathomable, then they happen. Life calls you on a banana phone and tells you her oldest joke, everybody crowds around and you try to remember the words to your favorite song. If you were to ask me how we made this video, I couldn’t tell you. Cate watching her, watching her watching Cate. I will always feel honored to work with Cate in whatever shape or form, it’s easy to forget how remarkable someone is when you’ve known them forever. ‘I want you to make me a new video.’ ‘Have you watched the old one yet?’ ‘No’… Bravo!”
In support of the upcoming album, Cate Le Bon is gearing up for an extensive tour across the United Kingdom, Europe, and North America. The tour will kick off on October 9 in Cardiff, UK, at Llais – Wales Millennium Centre and will include dates in major cities such as Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, and Brighton in the UK, as well as Madrid, Barcelona, Brussels, Amsterdam, Paris, Berlin, and more in Europe. The North American leg of the tour will start on January 12, 2026, in Washington, DC, and will continue through cities like Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles, among others. Tickets for the general public will go on sale this Friday, June 6, at 10 a.m. local time, with presale tickets available starting tomorrow, June 4.
The tracklist for Michelangelo Dying includes ten songs, starting with “Jerome” and proceeding with “Love Unrehearsed,” “Mothers of Riches,” “Is It Worth It (Happy Birthday)?,” “Pieces of My Heart,” “About Time,” “Heaven Is No Feeling,” “Body As A River,” “Ride” featuring John Cale, and concluding with “I Know What’s Nice.”
