BTS Jin’s song ‘Echo’ remains on Billboard 200 for second week

BTS member Jin’s second mini-album ‘Echo’ continues to showcase his solo talent by maintaining its position on the Billboard 200 chart for the second consecutive week. As the latest chart update on June 7 reveals, ‘Echo’ secured the 122nd spot on the Billboard 200, while also ranking 2nd on the World Albums chart and 6th on the Top Album Sales chart.

The title track of the album, “Don’t Say You Love Me,” is gaining notable traction, climbing to the 12th spot on the Digital Song Sales chart. Additionally, the song has risen to 4th place on the Global chart, reinforcing its international appeal. On the Global 200 chart, “Don’t Say You Love Me” currently holds the 6th position, indicating its broad reach across international audiences.

Upon its debut on May 31, ‘Echo’ made history by claiming the No. 3 spot on the Billboard 200 chart. This achievement marked Jin’s highest charting position as a solo artist and solidified his status as the first K-pop soloist to enter the top 5 in 2025. Impressively, the album accumulated 43,000 equivalent album units in its opening week, with traditional album sales accounting for 35,000 units.

Released on May 19, ‘Echo’ follows Jin’s debut solo album ‘Happy,’ which debuted at No. 4 in November 2024. Featuring seven tracks, ‘Echo’ delves into Jin’s rock influences, incorporating elements from pop punk to country rock, all set against a backdrop of band-driven sounds.

Beyond Jin’s solo success, other BTS members are also making notable appearances on the charts. Jimin’s “Who” from his album ‘MUSE’ holds the 84th position on the Global 200 chart, while Jungkook’s “Seven” secures the 140th spot. On the Global chart (excluding the U.S.), both songs rank at 49th and 72nd, respectively.

Looking ahead, Jin is gearing up to embark on his first solo concert tour, “#RunSeokjin_EP.Tour,” commencing on June 28-29 in South Korea. The tour will span nine cities across Japan, the U.S., the UK, and the Netherlands, enabling Jin to connect with fans worldwide.

The sustained presence of ‘Echo’ on the charts underscores Jin’s rise as a solo artist and highlights the global impact of BTS members’ individual endeavors. As Jin’s influence continues to grow, it is clear that his solo career is thriving, resonating with audiences worldwide.
