SAVAK drops latest album titled ‘SQUAWK!’
Brooklyn’s band SAVAK recently launched their latest album, SQUAWK!, via Ernest Jenning Record Co. / Peculiar Works Music, marking their seventh album release. This album showcases the band’s evolution and exploration into new musical territories.
The standout track “No Man’s Island” embraces 70s classic rock vibes with guitar riffs reminiscent of Lou Reed, exuding a timeless coolness from a bygone era. It’s the kind of song that sets the perfect vibe for summer relaxation.
On the other hand, the pre-release single “American Vernacular” takes listeners on a mysterious journey, creating a hypnotic ambiance filled with a blend of haunting elements and an awe-inspiring cinematic quality. This track serves as a compelling shift from the energetic “No Man’s Island.”
Moving forward, “Tomorrow And The Day After” captures the essence of classic 90s indie rock, blending influences from R.E.M. and Mission Of Burma with a raw intensity that resonates with strength and determination.
