Craft, Rock & Street Food Festival returning this month in Brundanje | Croatia
Music enthusiasts and beer aficionados in Zagreb can mark their calendars for a special event coming this June. Brundanje – Craft, Rock & Street Food Festival is set to make a return for its 2025 edition, promising two days of entertainment. The festival will take place in the courtyard of Pivovara Medvedgrad, offering a lively combination of rock performances, craft beer varieties, and delectable street food delights to welcome the summer season in a grand style.
Marking the calendar for the 27th and 28th of June, the festival boasts an exciting lineup featuring some of Croatia’s most cherished rock musicians. The kick-off evening on Friday is bound to make an impact with the reunion of Prljavo kazalište’s Bodalec and Houra, presenting their beloved timeless hits during a two-hour set. Prior to their performance, music lovers can enjoy the energetic tunes of Donkey Hot, an engaging rock band from Zagreb led by Vili Gobac.
The energy doesn’t wane on Saturday, as M.O.R.T. takes the stage, followed by Edo Maajka and the legendary Jura Stublić & Film. The festival’s vibes will reach a crescendo with the exciting return of Kawasaki 3P, famed for their live shows filled with attitude and adrenaline from start to finish.
Of course, a rock festival would not be complete without a stellar selection of craft beer, and Brundanje will offer over ten varieties to sample, including classics like Zlatni Medvjed, Fakin IPA, and the iconic Grička vještica, with all brews priced at a modest €3.50. Additionally, attendees can look forward to the unveiling of two new brews exclusively available at the festival. For those not into beer, cocktails and a special gin & tonic assortment from Old Pilot’s Gin will be on hand.
Feeding the crowd’s appetites will be three top-tier street food vendors. Picnic from Zadar will present its renowned silver food truck and award-winning dishes, while Živa Vatra will charm onlookers with fresh-made pizzas, and The M Brothers will delight with juicy burgers and meaty creations that will surely leave guests craving more.
Kickstarting each night’s festivities will be guided tours of Pivovara Medvedgrad, led by the charismatic Josipa Šiklić, also known as Purgerica. Starting at 18:30 on Friday and 18:00 on Saturday, visitors can explore the brewery premises and delve into the tales behind celebrated brews like Grička vještica.
Tickets for the event are currently on sale for €25 per day, with prices increasing to €30 per day starting June 26, so early bookings are recommended. Children aged 12 and under accompanied by an adult can enjoy the festival for free. The event will operate on a cashless system, accepting all major cards for purchases.
