From the ashes of their previous success, Teenager, the collaborative musical project of Nick Littlemore and Pip Brown, emerges once again with their latest single, “Sail The Seas.” This track is the second release from their upcoming album, “Fourteen,” set to be unveiled later this year. The dynamic duo, composed of Nick Littlemore from PNAU and Empire of the Sun and Pip Brown, also known as Ladyhawke, has been capturing the attention of fans with their blend of indie-dance energy and kaleidoscopic grooves.

“Sail The Seas” invites listeners on a journey through a dreamlike realm filled with catchy melodies and infectious beats. Ladyhawke reveals that the song was born from a spur-of-the-moment writing session with Nick, initially intended for a commercial project but eventually evolved into a Teenager track. The duo aimed to create a lively and hooky tune reminiscent of a child’s playful chant, infused with their unique Teenager flair.

Established in 2004, Teenager’s debut album, “Thirteen,” introduced a blend of danceable rhythms and punk rock influences that resonated with audiences worldwide. Tracks like “Pony” and “Bound and Gagged,” recorded in various studios across the globe, showcased their vibrant and distinctive style. Nick Littlemore’s DIY approach and collaborations with artists like Sonic Youth, Van She, Luke Steele, The Birthday Party, and The Presets contributed to the album’s cult status in the UK, US, and Australia.

Despite their initial success, Teenager’s journey was brief as both Nick and Pip pursued solo ventures. By 2007, Pip Brown dedicated her efforts to her solo career as Ladyhawke, releasing her eponymous album in 2008, featuring synth-pop hits like “My Delirium” and “Paris Is Burning.” Similarly, Nick returned to PNAU and later co-founded Empire of the Sun with Luke Steele, crafting genre-defying tracks that captivated audiences globally.

Throughout their individual endeavors, the bond between Nick and Pip remained strong, leading to sporadic collaborations and a long-awaited reunion for Teenager. The duo is embarking on a new musical direction, fusing euphoric synths and pulsating basslines with a punk rock edge in their upcoming release, “Fourteen.” Leading the way with infectious tunes like “A.A.” and “Sail The Seas,” Teenager is set to captivate audiences once again with their dynamic and innovative sound.

As Teenager prepares to unveil their latest musical offering, fans can expect a fresh and exciting chapter in their musical odyssey. Stay tuned for more electrifying releases from this dynamic duo as they redefine the boundaries of indie-dance music with their upcoming album, “Fourteen.”
