Senforock has been combining rock and symphony for more than ten years
Senforock Orchestra, led by the celebrated composer and conductor Musa Göçmen, has been impressing audiences for more than 16 years with their unique blend of rock and symphony. Known for his iconic mid-air jump that concludes each performance, Göçmen and his orchestra have created a niche in the music industry by offering symphonic renditions of both Turkish and international rock classics.
Since its formation in 2009, Senforock has aimed to merge the vibrancy of rock music with the grandeur of orchestral arrangements. The orchestra made its debut at the prestigious Masters of Rock Festival in the Czech Republic and later embarked on a charitable project in Japan to support children affected by a tsunami. Over the years, Senforock has solidified its position as a prominent rock phenomenon in Türkiye.
The orchestra comprises a rock band, vocal soloists, a full symphony orchestra, and a growing choir that has become an integral part of their signature sound. Göçmen emphasized the importance of infusing the emotional depth of symphonic music with the raw energy of rock, highlighting iconic Turkish artists such as Barış Manço, Cem Karaca, Erkin Koray, Üç Hürel, to name a few.
