Foreigner is a beloved rock band from the 1970s and 1980s that is making a major comeback with their original lead singer. The band is known for iconic songs like “Double Vision,” “Feels Like the First Time,” “Hot Blooded,” and “Head Games.” They recently announced that they will be releasing a new album titled “Foreigner 4 Deluxe” in September as part of their 50th-anniversary celebration. This album will include special editions of their 1981 multi-Platinum album “4,” featuring hits such as “Urgent,” “Waiting For a Girl Like You,” “Juke Box Hero,” “Break It Up,” and “Luanne.”

The “Foreigner 4 Deluxe” album will offer a 5-disc CD/Blu-ray package with five previously unreleased songs, as well as early and alternate versions of songs, instrumentals, and live performances from their 1981 and 1982 4 World Tour. The release will also feature alternate versions, instrumentals, and live performances from that era. The album is set to drop on Sept. 12 and promises a unique and exciting listening experience for fans.

Founding member Mick Jones expressed his excitement about the album, stating that recording their fourth album was a two-year journey that had to be just right. He, along with Lou Gramm, Rick, Dennis, and the rest of the band, believed they had created something truly special. In his statement, he reflected on the album as a spectacular culmination of one of the most thrilling periods of his life.

In addition to the album release, Foreigner’s new tour will bring together members Luis Maldonado, Jeff Pilson, Michael Bluestein, Bruce Watson, and Chris Frazier. They will be celebrating their music legacy with a series of headlining tour dates, joined by original lead singer Lou Gramm on some songs. Lou Gramm’s return to the stage will add a historic element to the tour, as he played a significant role in writing and recording the “Foreigner 4” album almost 45 years ago.

Fans can catch Foreigner on tour at various locations, including Port Chester, N.Y., Staten Island, Bethlehem, Pa., Wallingford, Conn., Montclair, N.J., and Williamsport, Pa. Tickets are currently on sale, and Staten Island fans can look forward to a concert at the St. George Theatre in December. Additionally, Foreigner announced a special benefit concert featuring Lou Gramm to raise funds for their musical “Feels Like the First Time,” directed by Broadway star Adam Pascal.

As Foreigner gears up for their tour and album release, fans can expect a nostalgic journey through their classic hits and a special reunion with their original lead singer. The band’s enduring legacy continues to captivate audiences worldwide, making them a timeless icon in the rock music scene.
