Eris TV Anime Unveils 2nd Promo Video, Set to Debut in January 2026

Drecom unveiled a fresh video and announced a January 2026 premiere at Anime Expo for the upcoming anime adaptation of Kujira Tokiwa and Yuunagi’s light novel series, The Holy Grail of Eris. The anime is set to air on TBS and its affiliated stations as well as on BS11 in Japan.

The staff behind the production includes Director “Morita to Junpei” (JUMPEI & MORITA), Series Composition and Script by Kenichi Yamashita, Character Design by Chie Kawaguchi, Sub-Character Design by Jun Yukawa, Art Director Nobuhito Sue, Color Design by Aiko Yamagami, Director of Photography Yūko Kamahara, Editing by Yuriko Sano, Sound Director Yūichi Morita, Production by Good Smile Film and DRE Pictures, Production Cooperation by STUDIO LIVE, and Animation Production by Ashi Productions.

The main characters in the anime are Constance Grail played by Kana Ichinose and Scarlett Castiel played by Sayumi Suzushiro, both reprising their roles from the light novel’s previous drama CD. Additionally, Yōhei Azakami and M.A.O play the roles of Randolph Alster and Lily Orlamünde, respectively.

The story, originally launched on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2017 by Tokiwa, follows Connie, a young noblewoman known for her sincerity, who faces a series of unfortunate events including losing her fiancée and being wrongfully accused of a crime. However, everything changes when the ghost of a notorious villainess, Scarlet Castiel, possesses her and helps clear her name. In return, Connie must aid in unraveling the mystery surrounding Scarlet’s death and an ongoing conspiracy.

The manga adaptation by Momoyama began on Square Enix’s Manga UP! web manga site and app in 2019, with Yen Press publishing it in English. A sequel manga adaptation titled Eris no Seihai S (The Holy Grail of Eris -SEQUEL-) by S.Kosugi was launched on October 18.

Overall, the upcoming anime adaptation of The Holy Grail of Eris promises to delve into a captivating narrative filled with mystery, intrigue, and supernatural elements. Fans can look forward to the series debut in January 2026 on TBS and BS11 in Japan.
