Brocarde and Korn’s Ray Luzier collaborate on new music
Brocarde is collaborating with Korn’s drummer, Ray Luzier, on new music. The rock singer and the nu-metal group’s drummer were spotted reuniting backstage at Download Festival last month. Korn headlined Sunday night, and Brocarde was there to record interviews for her website, brocarde.com.
Ray Luzier had previously praised Brocarde’s impressive vocal abilities and theatrical style. He will be playing the drums on some of her upcoming tracks. The music video for “Identity Theft” was filmed in one of the UK’s most haunted prisons and features Brocarde giving birth to a baby alien. During the shoot, some paranormal activity was reportedly witnessed, with ghosts appearing to be headbanging along to the track, including the famous Kray Twins.
Known for her use of horror themes and heavier sounds in her music, Brocarde is constantly pushing artistic boundaries. Her passion for theatrical songwriting shines through in her work. Last year, she made headlines for participating in a ghost hunt at Download Festival’s Avalanche Stage. This time, she had some exciting backstage encounters with Luzier, who admires her distinctive voice and blending of aggression and sweetness in her music.
