Larissa Lambert Releases ‘Blame It On Me’ Track, Announces Upcoming EP
Australian R&B singer Larissa Lambert has just released a fresh single titled ‘Blame It On Me’, which serves as the lead track from her upcoming project “I Think This is an EP,” set to come out in August 2025. The track was premiering on triple j Drive earlier in the week, showcasing a new stylistic direction for Lambert while retaining the emotional clarity that characterizes her music. Produced by Tentendo and Khaled Rohaim, known for their work with artists like Rihanna, Juice WRLD, and The Kid LAROI, ‘Blame It On Me’ combines modern R&B production with a focus on raw emotions.
Lambert has been steadily building her fan base through successful streaming numbers, with over 250 million streams to date, and support from platforms like triple j, BBC Radio 1Xtra, and Spotify’s EQUAL campaign, where she was featured on a Times Square billboard. Her previous singles, including ‘You’re Still Mine’ and ‘Cardio,’ have positioned her as a rising star in the Australian R&B scene, blending local and international influences with a refined touch.
In 2024-2025, Lambert completed her first headline tour across Australia and New Zealand, with sold-out shows nationwide. She also ventured to Shanghai for her first live performance in China and is scheduled to return to the stage at Spilt Milk Ballarat in December. With support slots for Kehlani and features in Rolling Stone and other publications, Lambert’s upward trajectory indicates that she is coming into her own as an artist. ‘I Think This is an EP’ will be her first full release following a series of standalone singles and promises to deliver a cohesive body of work centered on introspective lyrics and polished sonic craftsmanship.
