Zach Bryan, known for his unconventional style, surprised fans with an announcement on a Saturday afternoon that his latest single, “Madeline,” will be released this week. The Oklahoma native took to social media to share the news, revealing captivating cover art depicting him leaning out of a vintage Corvette, channeling a sense of nostalgia and freedom. Although the exact release date remains unspecified, this revelation comes after his recent drop of three tracks – “Streets of London,” “River Washed Hair,” and “Song for You” – just over a week ago, following his remarkable sold-out shows at London’s BST Hyde Park.

These songs, recorded at David Bowie’s former studio, made a striking entry into the top 10 on the Billboard Rock Digital Song Sales chart. While Bryan described them as “tunes that didn’t belong on a record,” he hinted at an upcoming album in the works. Despite this exciting news, it is still uncertain whether “Madeline” will be part of this upcoming LP.

In addition to this musical venture, back in January, Zach teased a cinematic project associated with his forthcoming album, featuring a voiceover by Matthew McConaughey. Named “Motorbreath,” this film captures his journey with friends on a two-week motorcycle expedition across America, documenting the production process of what is believed to be his “final major label album.”

As the anticipation builds around “Madeline,” Bryan has also dropped hints about including tracks like “In Dreams” and “Plastic Cigarette.” Fans are keenly waiting for what promises to be another emotionally stirring addition to his repertoire, solidifying his position as a prominent figure in country music, whether he actively seeks that role or not.
