Bear’s Den, a British band, is set to make a return to Australia in October for a series of intimate shows to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of their debut album, “Islands.” The album, released in 2014, includes popular tracks like “Agape,” “Elysium,” “Isaac,” and “Above the Clouds of Pompeii,” which was even nominated for an Ivor Novello award.

Lead vocalist Andrew Davie will be performing the songs from “Islands” in a raw and minimal format, offering audiences a personal and direct connection to the music. This stripped-back performance will give fans a chance to experience the songs in their original form, highlighting the songwriting at the forefront.

In addition to the tracks from “Islands,” the setlist will also feature a curated selection of songs from Bear’s Den’s extensive discography. Over the past decade, the band has carved out a unique musical space that blends folk traditions with modern emotional clarity, resonating with audiences worldwide.

These upcoming shows not only celebrate the milestone of “Islands” but also provide an opportunity to reflect on the band’s journey and influence within the contemporary British folk-rock genre. It’s a chance for fans to experience a decade of work that has quietly shaped the landscape of music.

Bear’s Den will be performing in Sydney at The Vanguard on Sunday, October 19, 2025, and in Melbourne at the Brunswick Ballroom on Thursday, October 23, 2025. The upcoming shows promise to be a special occasion for fans to witness the evolution of the band’s sound over the years and celebrate the music that has captured the hearts of listeners around the world.
