Wolfgang Van Halen to Release Third Album ‘The End’ in October
Wolfgang Van Halen, known for his musical talents, is gearing up for the release of his third solo album, “The End,” on October 24th. Produced with the help of Michael “Elvis” Baskette at 5150 Studios in Los Angeles, the album consists of ten tracks, with Wolfgang taking control of every note and vocal line. Describing the album as a blend of being “over-the-top and shreddy” yet melodic and controlled, Wolfgang expressed his excitement for the project upon its completion, mentioning how special it felt.
The lead single from “The End,” titled “The Spell,” has been well-received, with its music video garnering over 4 million views. Directed by Gordy De St. Jeor, the video featured Wolfgang showcasing his musical prowess by playing all the instruments. Additionally, the music video for the title track of the album, released in May, featured cameo appearances by stars such as Danny Trejo, Slash, Myles Kennedy, and Valerie Bertinelli, adding to the visual appeal of the project.
Embarking on the “Return of the Summer of ’99” tour on July 9th, the group is scheduled to perform until August 30th. Following this, they will kick off another tour in Las Vegas on November 1st, with Myles Kennedy slated to join them on stage. Their previous album, “Mammoth WVH,” performed exceptionally well, reaching No. 12 on the Billboard 200 chart and topping three other charts. Their second album, “Mammoth II,” also made waves by debuting on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart and reclaiming the top spot on the Top Hard Rock Albums chart.
As a GRAMMY-nominated songwriter, vocalist, instrumentalist, and producer, Wolfgang Van Halen has showcased his versatility in the music industry.
