Indie rock band Wet Leg has achieved a significant milestone with their second album hitting number one on multiple charts, according to the Official Charts Company. Their latest album, titled “moisturizer,” has topped the Official Albums Chart, Official Vinyl Albums Chart, and Official Record Store Chart, making it the best-selling record in UK independent record stores for the week.

This success mirrors the accomplishment of their self-titled debut album, which also reached the top spot in 2022. Meanwhile, veteran rock band Oasis, currently on a reunion tour in the UK, continues to dominate the album charts. The band has three albums from their extensive catalog in the top five positions – “Time Flies… 1994-2009,” “(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?” and “Definitely Maybe.”

Oasis recently commenced their Oasis Live ’25 Tour in Cardiff, followed by a series of performances in Manchester. Amidst Oasis’ chart-topping albums is pop sensation Justin Bieber, debuting at number four with his seventh top 10 album, “SWAG,” upon its digital release.

In addition to Bieber, Burna Boy secures his fifth UK top 10 album with “No Sign Of Weakness” at number six. Scottish singer Amy Macdonald earns her sixth top 10 album with “Is This What You’ve Been Waiting For?” at number eight, while newcomer Barry Can’t Swim achieves his first top 10 placement with his second studio album, “Loner,” at number ten.

Furthermore, Sir Elton John’s greatest hits collection “Diamonds,” released in 2017, has spent over 400 weeks on the Official Albums Chart, reaching number one in January. This longevity marks 401 weeks within the top 100, a remarkable milestone for the iconic artist.

On the singles charts, producer MK, featuring Chrystal, maintains the top spot for a second week with “Dior.” The track also garners the highest number of streams in the UK, with 5.5 million streams in the past week. Sabrina Carpenter’s “Manchild” remains at number two, while Calvin Harris and Clementine Douglas’s “Blessings” ascends three positions to number three.

The week also sees the entrance of Bieber’s “DAISIES” at number four and the Netflix musical movie “KPop Demon Hunters” securing its first top 10 hit with the album of the same name at number nine. Additionally, Olivia Dean’s “Nice To Each Other” rises to a new peak of number 10, becoming her second top 10 song following a duet with Sam Fender titled “Rein Me In.”

In conclusion, the music scene is thriving with a diverse range of artists making their mark on the charts, showcasing both veteran acts like Oasis and Elton John, as well as emerging talents such as Wet Leg and Olivia Dean.
