Travis Scott’s fresh musical release, JackBoys 2, reached the ultimate position in a highly competitive week of numerous new albums upon its debut at the summit of Billboard’s 200 Albums chart. This accomplishment was achieved by surpassing Justin Bieber’s unexpected album Swag and Clipse’s Let God Sort ‘Em Out, the latter marking the legendary duo’s return to the music scene after a substantial hiatus of over 15 years.

JackBoys 2, widely perceived as a compilation album featuring talents associated with his Cactus Jack label, notched up Scott’s sixth chart-topping album. His illustrious career now includes four individual album successes along with the prior JackBoys compilation album. The album led the pack with an impressive 232,000 units sold, prominently driven by robust conventional sales figures that amounted to 160,000 copies, as outlined by Billboard’s detailed insights.

This triumphant feat marked the end of Morgan Wallen’s entrenched two-month dominance at the pinnacle of the albums chart with his album I’m the Problem that debuted back in May. Luminate’s analysis from last week underscored that I’m the Problem had emerged as the United States’ most sought-after album during the initial half of 2025, dramatically encapsulating Wallen’s widespread appeal and enduring influence in the music industry.

This milestone also signaled a significant transition for Justin Bieber, marking the first instance in his impressive 15-year-long career that he hadn’t entered the chart at No. 1. This shift effectively put an end to his remarkable streak of six consecutive albums that had debuted at the No. 1 position, a remarkable journey initiated by his inaugural record My World 2.0, which released back in 2010. Despite this momentous change, Swag made a noteworthy foray into the music landscape, conjuring up a standout debut with 163,000 overall units riding on a staggering 198.77 million streams, as authenticated by Billboard’s comprehensive track record. Particularly remarkable was Swag’s debut performance being predominantly driven by streams, with future consideration for physical sales anticipated to bring in supplementary accolades in forthcoming chart movements.
