Immersion reveals latest album ‘WTF??’, debuts new music video

The upcoming album, “WTF??” is set to be their first full studio album since their work with the Nanocluster project. The record consists of eight tracks, with a balance of four instrumentals and four vocal tracks. The band’s inspiration for this album stems from the current global turmoil, intending to blend feelings of unease with moments of hope through their signature brand of minimalistic yet melodious electronic music.

The lead single, “Use It Don’t Lose It,” is already available on various streaming platforms. Immersion describes it as a direct expression of unity and encouragement, sending a clear message that resonates with both them and their audience. The track is characterized by its straightforward lyrics that require no further explanation and can be easily joined in with by listeners.

In addition to the album release, Immersion will be hosting a special listening party and live conversation led by John Robb at The Actors in Brighton on October 3. This event will be broadcast live through Slack City radio, providing fans with a unique opportunity to engage with the band and their music.

To complement the album release, the duo has lined up a series of UK tour dates for 2025, including performances in various cities such as Woodbridge, Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester, London, and Brighton. These shows will give fans a chance to experience Immersion’s music in a live setting with a unique blend of energy and artistry.

Immersion, consisting of Colin Newman and Malka Spigel, have been at the forefront of the electronic music scene since the mid-1990s. Their work showcases a fusion of ambient soundscapes, groovy electronica, and striking visuals, creating a multi-dimensional experience for listeners.
