Koyote, the legendary Korean co-ed trio, is set to make a highly anticipated return with a brand-new single titled “Call Me” on August 6. This upcoming release marks the group’s first music drop since November 2023 when they released “Four Seasons.” While their previous release embraced modern rock elements and featured robust guitar sounds, this new track is said to delve into a fresh genre known as “Re-DM,” which combines retro vibes with trendy EDM elements.

The track “Call Me” has been composed by Choi Jun-young, the mastermind behind Koyote’s classic hits like “Pure Love” and “Broken Heart.” This has naturally sparked excitement among fans as they eagerly anticipate the trio’s signature sound while also embracing an evolving musical direction. Member Shin Ji expressed her excitement in a behind-the-scenes recording video, sharing her past memories of working with Producer Choi Jun-young since high school, and how reuniting with him has brought back nostalgic feelings. The trio seems prepared to reintroduce the essence of Koyote to their audience.

To build up anticipation further, Koyote has unveiled a series of concept photos featuring all three members in matching black suits and sunglasses, exuding a bold and cohesive look. Additionally, the group is gearing up for a series of concerts in various locations, starting with a performance in Sydney followed by shows in Daegu, Seoul, Ulsan, Busan, and Changwon as part of their nationwide tour.

With the upcoming release of “Call Me” and the accompanying concept of Re-DM, Koyote seems poised to captivate their audience once again with a blend of nostalgia and contemporary music elements. Fans can expect a fresh take on the group’s iconic sound, guided by producer Choi Jun-young’s expertise and the trio’s unwavering commitment to showcasing the evolution of Koyote’s musical journey. Stay tuned for their much-anticipated comeback that is sure to leave a mark in the K-pop scene.
