They allege that their work even contributed to the film “Priscilla,” directed by Sofia Coppola, without receiving proper credit.
Lisa Marie Presley passed away on January 12, 2023, due to complications following a previous surgery. The lawsuit filed by Kruse and Fialko seeks damages exceeding $50 million and accuses Priscilla Presley of orchestrating a strategy to take back control of Elvis Presley’s estate and to discredit them in the business arena.
Priscilla Presley’s legal representative, Martin D. Singer, dismissed these claims as baseless and malicious. He criticized the lawsuit as an attempt at character assassination by accusing a grieving mother of causing harm to her daughter, describing it as disgraceful and lacking merit.
In response to the allegations, Lisa Marie’s daughter Riley Keough expressed her full support for her grandmother and distaste for the claims made against her. Despite the lack of response from Keough’s representatives, the legal battle continues between the parties involved.
Kruse and Fialko, backed by their attorney Jordan Matthews, maintain that their business partnership with Priscilla Presley was established on solid grounds and was not marred by any form of coercion or undue pressure. They indicate that their collaboration was aimed at enhancing Presley’s brand and was unfairly terminated without due credit.
