A man in California was recently apprehended after a security guard at a Walmart in Irvine caught him attempting to film up a female shopper’s skirt. The man, identified as Damian Bravo, 23, was found to have hundreds of similar videos on his phone, dating back at least two years. Upon his arrest, Bravo, a Santa Ana resident, was charged with invasion of privacy and booked at the Orange County Jail. He was later released on bail while authorities work to locate additional victims.

Officer Kyle Oldoerp expressed concern that there may be more victims who are unaware of Bravo’s actions. Oldoerp mentioned that Bravo seemed to prefer targeting Walmart and Target stores, and the videos may have been intended for personal gratification, traded, or even posted online. While only one victim has been identified thus far, authorities fear there may be numerous others.

In light of Bravo’s arrest, the Irvine Police Department is urging anyone who may have been a victim of his actions to come forward. The department shared information about the incident and is seeking more information on other potential victims. Oldoerp emphasized the importance of identifying and reaching out to those who might have been targeted by Bravo to further the investigation.

The case underscores the need for vigilance and awareness in public spaces, as individuals may attempt to exploit others using covert tactics. The invasion of privacy and violation of personal boundaries remains a serious concern, with law enforcement urging those who suspect they may have been targeted by Bravo to reach out and assist in the ongoing investigation. By fostering a community response to such incidents, authorities aim to hold perpetrators accountable and ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals in public settings.
