BLACKPINK made history as the first K-pop girl group to headline at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium, joining the ranks of music legends like Michael Jackson, Taylor Swift, BTS, and Oasis. The group, consisting of members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, performed for nearly 78,000 fans each night over two sold-out shows, solidifying their status as global superstars.

The energy and excitement were palpable as the members took the stage, with Lisa expressing their gratitude for the enthusiastic crowd at Wembley Stadium. “This is an absolute honor to be performing here at Wembley Stadium,” said Lisa, acknowledging the overwhelming support from fans. Jennie shared her sentiment, calling the experience an “epic dream,” while Rosé expressed gratitude for the unwavering support of their fans in London.

The two-and-a-half-hour show was a spectacle, featuring pyrotechnics, lasers, and giant video screens that provided fans with an up-close view of each member’s performance. BLACKPINK treated the audience to a lineup of their biggest hits, including crowd favorites like Kill This Love, How You Like That, Pink Venom, Shut Down, Whistle, and DDU-DU DDU-DU. They also debuted their new single, Jump, which quickly garnered attention and broke YouTube records with 26 million views in just one day.

Fans were delighted to see the members let loose and interact with the audience, creating memorable moments that resonated both online and offline. Despite their individual styles and projects, such as Lisa’s rock energy, Rosé’s emotive ballads, Jennie’s dynamic performances, and Jisoo’s powerful vocals, the group’s on-stage chemistry remained electric and cohesive.

The Wembley shows marked the end of the European leg of BLACKPINK’s Deadline World Tour, which includes a total of 31 concerts across 16 cities. Looking ahead, the group is set to continue their tour in various countries such as Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Japan, and Hong Kong in 2026.

BLACKPINK has achieved several milestones in their career, including becoming the first female K-pop group to sell a million albums and breaking records for the highest-grossing female group tour. Their success has surpassed that of iconic groups like the Spice Girls, solidifying their position as trailblazers in the industry.

Excitement is growing among fans as rumors circulate about a potential new music album from BLACKPINK before the year ends. Although details have not been confirmed, sources from the South Korean music industry suggest that the group is gearing up to release a mini album in November. Despite neither confirming nor denying the claim, their agency, YG Entertainment, has promised to provide updates in due time.

As BLACKPINK continues to make waves in the music industry and captivate audiences worldwide, fans eagerly anticipate what the future holds for this groundbreaking K-pop group.
