New music video for “Dark Temptation” released after induction
Following a recent series of performances alongside Savatage, participation at Wacken Open Air, and the release of their single “Beyond Horizons,” Induction is back with a fresh offering, “Dark Temptation.” The latest track integrates heavy riffs, symphonic elements, and catchy melodies, further defining the band’s contemporary power metal style.
Paired with the single is a new music video, staged in a universe inspired by sci-fi, perfectly mirroring the futuristic motifs of the track. The band continues to emphasize coupling their music with striking visual elements.
With “Dark Temptation,” Induction continues to solidify their status as a rising force in the power metal genre. Guitarist Tim Kanoa Hansen expresses, “With ‘Dark Temptation,’ we officially usher in our forthcoming third album, Love Kills!, scheduled for release in February 2026. This song initiates the next chapter for INDUCTION – where allure meets peril, and love teeters on danger’s edge. It’s heavy, it’s dark, it’s sci-fi – and this is only the beginning. Dive into this forbidden tale and feel the excitement of ‘Dark Temptation,’ the first glimpse of what’s to come. You’ll crave more!”
The track, recorded at Hamburg’s Chameleon Studios and Boogie Park Studios, was produced by Hansen and mixed and mastered by Eike Freese, with collaborative input from the guitarist. “Dark Temptation” marks the sophomore release for vocalist Gabriele Gozzi, guitarist Justus Sahlman, and drummer Markus “Maks” Felber since the band regrouped in 2024.
In early 2026, Induction will join Visions of Atlantis and Warkings as the supporting band on the Pirates & Kings Over Europe tour, spanning over 20 cities in Europe during February and March. The dates for the band’s current tour are listed below.
