DAY6 marks 10th year milestone with release of new album ‘The DECADE’ and fan gatherings

DAY6, the renowned K-pop rock band, recently marked a significant milestone with the celebration of their 10th anniversary on September 7. This momentous occasion was commemorated through the release of a new full-length album and a series of exciting fan events. The band, known for their heartfelt lyrics and diverse storytelling, has been captivating audiences since their debut on September 7, 2015.

The latest album by DAY6, titled ‘The DECADE’, was released on September 5, encapsulating their remarkable 10-year journey. The album features two title tracks, namely “Dream Bus” and “INSIDE OUT”. Impressively, all ten tracks from the album, including songs like “Don’t Let the Sun Rise,” “Disco Day,” and “My Way,” swiftly made their way into the Melon Top 100 chart by September 6, underscoring the band’s enduring popularity and earning them the title of “Trust and Listen DAY6.”

The beginning of the official 10th-anniversary project was heralded by a video announcement in August titled ‘DAY6 10th Anniversary Announcement: The DECADE of us’. This project commenced with the ‘DAY6 10th Anniversary Tour’, which took place at the Goyang Sports Complex on August 30-31. The release of their latest album marked a significant achievement, as it is the group’s first full-length record in nearly six years.

In an effort to further engage with their loyal fanbase, DAY6 launched a pop-up store named ‘DAY6.zip’ from September 1-7, inviting fans to take a nostalgic trip through the band’s history. Additionally, they released ‘DAY6 10th Anniversary Medley Live (2015 The Day ~ 2025 The DECADE)’, featuring a compilation of hits ranging from their debut track “Congratulations” to fan favorites like “Letting Go,” “I Smile,” “Shoot Me,” and “Days Gone By.”

On their special anniversary day on September 7, the group hosted an exclusive live stream on their official YouTube channel. Fans can anticipate a lineup of exciting content in the coming weeks, including a documentary entitled ‘DAY6 10th Anniversary Documentary ‘, live clips for various tracks from the album, and a brand-new music video set for release throughout the month of September.
