FNC Entertainment, a well-known force in the K-band industry, has recently introduced its newest band, AMP (AxMxP), after a decade of showcasing talents like CNBLUE, FTISLAND, and N.Flying. Comprising Ha Yoo-jun, Kim Shin, Krew, and Joo Hwan, the four-member group held a debut showcase for their album “AMP” at Olympic Hall in Seoul on September 10. With a showcase of vocals, rap, guitar, bass, and drums all performed by the members themselves, AMP aims to carry forward the company’s legacy with a blend of stunning visuals, musical prowess, and wide-ranging appeal.

The debut showcase for AMP’s album “AMP” highlighted the theme of “Emotional Storm,” capturing the diverse emotions of adolescence. Featuring 10 tracks that span across hip-hop, punk rock, and ballads, the album boasts a wide spectrum of musical styles. The band introduced three title tracks during the showcase: the hip-hop rock anthem “I Did It,” the heartfelt ballad “Love Poem,” and the lively punk rock tune “Shocking Drama.” Audience members were treated to live performances of all three tracks, showcasing AMP’s talent on stage. Ha Yoo-jun, as the lead vocalist, delivered a dynamic performance in “I Did It,” seamlessly blending rap and vocals with confidence. “Love Poem” showcased a more delicate, lyrical side of the group, while “Shocking Drama” brought vibrant, high-energy fun to the stage.

Each member of AMP expressed their passion for music and their desire to connect with listeners through their songs. Ha Yoo-jun emphasized the group’s dedication to living up to FNC’s reputation as their first new band in a decade. Kim Shin shared that the band aimed to depict the colorful emotions of youth through the album “Emotional Storm.” The album not only serves as a reflection of AMP’s identity but also marks the beginning of their journey as a new generation K-band.

Despite being newcomers, AMP has already had the opportunity to perform on prestigious stages like “FNC Band Kingdom” and “Beautiful Mint Life,” with upcoming performances at the Busan International Rock Festival. The members expressed their excitement at the chance to showcase their unique sound on such platforms. Additionally, AMP members are eager to engage in self-production, with aspirations of writing, composing, and producing their own music. With a focus on conveying emotions through their instrumental recordings, the band aims to continue evolving as musicians and hopes that audiences will join them on their musical journey.

“AMP,” the debut album by AMP, was officially released on major music platforms on September 10 at 6 p.m., marking the beginning of a promising career for the new band.
