GigantSound introduces Outline to Europe’s biggest free rock festival
e so-called Small Stage which, despite its name, is not small in size. To cater to the vast open-air audience, Gigant deployed over 300 Outline loudspeaker elements, a combination of large-format arrays, compact systems, and substantial low-frequency support.
The impressive Outline inventory featured 64 GTO line-array modules, 8 GTO-DF (downfill) units, 72 GTO C-12 enclosures, 50 Superfly compact line-array modules, 14 Mantas cabinets, and 90 DBS 18-2 sub-bass elements. This meticulous design ensured a seamless audio experience for festival attendees, from the front to the back of the field, aligning with the festival’s goal of providing top-notch sound quality.
The founder of Pol’and’Rock Festival, Jurek Owsiak, remains dedicated to the festival’s core values and its connection to the WOŚP Foundation. As one of Poland’s leading non-governmental, non-profit organizations focused on enhancing healthcare services in public hospitals, WOŚP sets high standards for all aspects of the festival, including sound production.
