Fast Money Music, the alias of American-born, East London-based artist Nick Hinman, has released his latest single titled “Round And Round,” along with an evocative new music video. This track serves as a preview for Fast Money Music’s upcoming debut album, which is scheduled for release in 2026.

Hinman describes “Round And Round” as a fusion of shimmering guitar melodies, melodic bass lines, and a blend of jangle-pop and post-punk urgency. Drawing inspiration from artists like The Cleaners From Venus and Guided By Voices, the song explores themes of memory, desire, and the cyclical nature of existence. The lyrics delve into the idea of being trapped in repetitive patterns, like in the movie “Groundhog Day,” where moments and emotions are relived in an endless loop. Despite its bittersweet tone, the track maintains a driving energy that keeps listeners engaged.

Recorded at Hackney Road Studios and Hinman’s personal studio in Dalston, “Round And Round” was a collaborative effort featuring notable producers and musicians. GRAMMY®-nominated producer Mikko Gordon co-produced the track alongside Hinman, while the mastering was done by GRAMMY®-winner Matt Colton. Contributions from drummer Oscar Robertson and backing vocalist Steffan Halperin added depth and texture to the song, creating a rich sonic tapestry that sets Fast Money Music apart as a rising talent in East London’s music scene.

Having already gained recognition with his previous EPs, “Strange Moments” and “Rouge,” Fast Money Music has garnered airplay on BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music, drawing praise from industry tastemakers like Jack Saunders, Steve Lamacq, and John Kennedy. His musical journey has seen collaborations with luminaries such as George Daniel and John Waugh of The 1975, elevating his status as a promising artist to watch.

As Fast Money Music gears up for the release of his debut album, fans can experience his music live at The Shacklewell Arms on 20th October, where he will be supporting Black Pope. With more singles on the horizon and a growing buzz surrounding his name, Fast Money Music is well on his way to establishing himself among the UK’s most exciting alternative pop acts.
