Blackpool police have released new surveillance footage and issued a fresh statement seeking information regarding an aggravated burglary and wounding incident that occurred on July 13. The incident involved three men entering a property on Hornby Road in Blackpool and assaulting a man in his 30s, resulting in him being hospitalized with a stab wound that required surgery. The Lancashire Police have already arrested and bailed two men from London in connection with the case but are now looking to identify two additional men captured in the surveillance footage.

The police have appealed to the public for any information that could assist in the investigation. A Lancashire Police spokesman stated, “Do you recognize these men? We want to speak to them in connection with our investigation into an aggravated burglary and section 18 wounding.” The two men arrested earlier were a 31-year-old man from Rainham, London and a 33-year-old man from London, both held on suspicion of aggravated burglary and assault causing grievous bodily harm. They have since been released on bail while further inquiries are being conducted.

Despite the incident occurring some time ago, the police are now reaching out to the public for their assistance. The spokesman further added, “We know this image isn’t of the highest quality, but if you recognize these men, witnessed this incident, have any CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage, or have any information that could help us, please call 101 quoting log 1649 of 13th July.” The force has also shared the appeal on social media platforms, hoping to gather more information from potential witnesses or individuals who might have relevant footage or details that could aid in solving the case.

The importance of community involvement and cooperation in such cases cannot be overstated. The police heavily rely on the public’s willingness to come forward with any information they may have, no matter how insignificant it may seem. Every piece of information, whether big or small, could potentially bring them closer to identifying and apprehending the individuals responsible for the crime committed on that fateful day in July.

In conclusion, the Blackpool police are actively seeking assistance from the community to provide any relevant information or details that could help in their investigation into the aggravated burglary and wounding incident. By releasing new surveillance footage and appealing to the public, they are hoping to identify and locate the individuals involved in the crime. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the police and contribute to the efforts to bring those responsible to justice.
