Good Charlotte and Sublime confirmed to perform at 2026 Slam Dunk Festival

Good Charlotte and Sublime have been confirmed as part of the lineup for the highly anticipated Slam Dunk Festival 2026. This festival, known as the UK’s largest independent rock festival, has unveiled the first wave of acts for its 20th-anniversary celebrations. The event is scheduled to take place at both Hatfield Park in Hertfordshire and Temple Newsam in Leeds on May 23 and 24.

Good Charlotte, the iconic pop-punk band, is set to headline the festival with an exclusive European performance. This appearance marks their return to the UK after their last show at London’s Alexandra Palace in 2019. The band expressed their excitement for this upcoming event, stating, “We are thrilled to be coming back to play in the UK after seven years, and being a part of the 20th-anniversary celebration of Slam Dunk will be an incredible experience for us. Launching this new chapter of Good Charlotte in the UK like this will be a lot of fun and a great teaser for what’s to come! Some of our favorite shows in our career have been in the UK, and we believe this one will be no different.”

Joining the lineup is Sublime, the ska punk pioneers known for their unique sound. Collaborating with Travis Barker, the group is working on their first new album in nearly thirty years. Their initial UK performance is highly anticipated and will certainly be a memorable highlight of the festival. Additionally, President, a mysterious band rumored to include Charlie Simpson from Busted, will also be performing. Taking Back Sunday will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of their 2006 album Louder Now with a special performance at the festival.

Other notable acts confirmed in this initial lineup announcement include Dashboard Confessional, Goldfinger, Motion City Soundtrack, and The Menzingers. Slam Dunk founder Ben Ray expressed his gratitude for the festival’s success over the past two decades, acknowledging the unwavering support from fans and artists alike. Ray noted, “When I started the festival 20 years ago, I couldn’t have imagined reaching this milestone, let alone growing to the size it is now. I am incredibly grateful for the continued support from our dedicated fans who return year after year, as well as the bands who consistently come back to perform. A big thank you to everyone involved!”

Ticket information and sales are set to commence on September 27, with pages launching on September 25. Fans eager to attend this milestone festival featuring Good Charlotte, Sublime, and other iconic acts will have the opportunity to secure their tickets and be a part of this epic celebration of independent rock music.
