Twenty-five of the most expensive homes in Jefferson County were sold last week between Thursday, Sept. 18, and Wednesday, Sept. 24, showcasing the high-end real estate market in the area. With a total of 126 homes sold during this period, the average sale price of these luxurious properties amounted to $387,020, while the median price stood at $267,450. On average, homes were sold for around 2.58% less than their initial listing price.

The list of the top 25 most expensive homes sold in Jefferson County over this timeframe provides an insight into the upscale residential properties changing hands in the region. The data highlighting these transactions was sourced from the James Rodgers Realty Group, shedding light on the impressive sales and purchases that occurred during this period.

Leading the pack was a luxurious property located at 120 Lake Drive in Mountain Brook, with a substantial list price of $4,895,000 and a final sale price of $4,700,000. Another remarkable sale was at 1 Pine Ridge Lane in Mountain Brook, listed at $2,750,000 and ultimately sold for $3,529,000, reflecting a remarkable 28.33% increase over the initial asking price. The property boasted three bedrooms, five bathrooms, and 4,205 square feet of living area.
