Legacy pop-punk group New Found Glory has revealed details about their forthcoming album ‘LISTEN UP!’, their eleventh studio album which will be their first full-length release in nearly six years. Scheduled for release on February 20, 2026, the band has unveiled the lead single titled “Laugh It Off.”

Reflecting on the 28 years they have been together, the band members touch on the sense of gratitude that pervades the new record, which also dabbles in themes of nostalgia as they reminisce about their extensive career in music. Furthermore, their upcoming tracks aim to instill hope amidst personal struggles and larger societal challenges.

Speaking about the overarching theme of ‘LISTEN UP!’, the band stated that it seeks to inspire hope during trying times while observing the world like a bystander, witnessing people’s anxieties, pessimism, and stress over trivial matters that barely scratch the surface of life’s complexities. They aim to deliver a message of resilience, growth, and strength through their music, which they describe as lively, anthemic, and liberating, focusing on overcoming scars.

The band elaborated on the essence of their new album, emphasizing the themes of retrospection and nostalgia, emphasizing how the journey through life’s challenges has shaped them into the individuals they are today. Sonically, ‘LISTEN UP!’ blends infectious pop melodies with heavy, riff-driven songs, striking a balance between the two styles.

Guitarist Chad Gilbert shared his perspective on the album, highlighting the significance of acknowledging their fortunes despite facing hardships. The band’s lyricism delves deeper into meaningful and purposeful narratives, aiming to provide a positive outlet for listeners navigating their struggles.

Gilbert, who has been battling a rare form of cancer since 2021 and underwent treatment in 2022 and 2023, recently disclosed that he would be commencing treatment yet again in August 2025. Balancing his health battle with his musical commitments, Gilbert plans to keep his followers informed through Instagram updates as he embarks on New Found Glory’s U.K. tour in October.

From October 10 to October 18, the band will be performing in the U.K., offering fans a taste of their new album and potential tour dates in the near future. ‘LISTEN UP!’ promises to be another empoweringly anthemic addition to New Found Glory’s illustrious discography, showcasing their resilience and musical evolution over the past nearly three decades.
