Kraftwerk has revealed the dates for their upcoming 2026 UK and Ireland tour on the heels of their successful North American tour earlier this year. The German electronic pioneers are set to perform in various cities across the UK and Ireland in May and June of next year. The tour kicks off in Dublin on May 17th at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre and includes stops in Belfast, Wolverhampton, Manchester, Glasgow, Stockton, Sheffield, Brighton, Bristol, and Bournemouth. The highlight of the tour will be two massive shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall on June 4th and 5th, followed by performances in Liverpool, Nottingham, and Edinburgh to wrap up the tour on June 9th.

This tour marks Kraftwerk’s first UK tour since 2017, with only a one-off show at Milton Keynes’ Forever Now Festival in June. The ‘Multimedia’ tour started in 2012 at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and blends performance art with digital installation. The 3D shows feature the band playing iconic tracks from their extensive career, including hits from albums like ‘Autobahn’ (1974), ‘Trans Europe Express’ (1977), and ‘Computer World’ (1981).

Last year, Kraftwerk paid homage to the late Ryuichi Sakamoto by covering ‘Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence’, a track they also performed at the Fuji Rock Festival in Japan. In another interesting development, former Kraftwerk member Wolfgang Flür was reportedly misled into collaborating with an imposter posing as Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter on his solo album ‘Times’.

Fans eagerly awaiting the opportunity to see Kraftwerk live in action can mark their calendars for October 10th when tickets for all the shows go on sale. Don’t miss out on the chance to witness the legendary band’s distinct blend of music and digital artistry come to life on stage in the UK and Ireland next year.
