Feeling slighted, Fish confronted Punk and Khan, but they promptly walked away. Fish later tried to speak with Punk a second time in his locker room, only to be met with dismissive responses. Fish described Punk’s behavior as passive-aggressive and not in line with how professionals should handle such situations.

In addition to the backstage tension, Fish took a jab at Punk’s MMA career, criticizing his representation of professional wrestling during his time in the UFC.
