Stray Kids, a popular K-pop boy band, has achieved a remarkable feat by securing their eighth consecutive No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart with their latest EP, Do It (2025). This accomplishment makes Stray Kids the first K-pop group to achieve such a milestone.

Their latest EP, Do It, managed to surpass American pop star Taylor Swift’s album, The Life Of A Showgirl (2025), which had maintained its position on the album chart for seven consecutive weeks. The Billboard 200 ranks the most popular albums in the United States based on equivalent album units, which includes overall music consumption from physical album sales, digital track downloads, and streams.

According to music data company Luminate, Do It garnered an impressive 295,000 equivalent album units in the US as of Nov 27, with 286,000 of those units coming from traditional album sales. This showcases the group’s strong performance in physical album sales.

Since their debut chart-topper Oddinary in 2022, Stray Kids have achieved eight No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200. Subsequent albums such as Maxident in 2022, 5-Star and Rock-Star in 2023, Ate and Hop in 2024, and Karma in June 2025 have all topped the prestigious chart.

Stray Kids’ latest accomplishment extends their lead as the K-pop group with the most No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200. They surpass other popular groups like BTS, Ateez, Blackpink, SuperM, Tomorrow X Together, NewJeans, and Twice in securing multiple top spots on the chart.

Furthermore, Stray Kids have made history by being the only act to debut at No. 1 with their first eight entries on the Billboard 200. Their record-breaking success also extends globally, with the group now holding the record for the most No. 1 albums by any group worldwide in the 21st century.

Their remarkable sales performance has positioned Do It as the seventh highest-selling album in the US in 2025, as reported by their agency JYP Entertainment. Beyond the Billboard 200, Stray Kids are also gaining recognition on other major global charts, such as Britain’s Official Trending Chart and Australia’s Aria Top 50 Singles Chart.

Recently, Stray Kids received the Album of the Year award for Karma at the 2025 MAMA Awards held in Hong Kong on Nov 29. The group is set to perform at the 40th Golden Disc Awards in Taipei on Jan 10, further solidifying their position as one of the leading acts in the global music scene.
