Gov’t Mule, the acclaimed GRAMMY-nominated band led by guitar legend Warren Haynes, has unveiled their upcoming tour schedule for 2026. The band will kick off the year with their annual New Year’s shows in New York City before embarking on a series of headlining performances and co-headlining dates with blues-rock powerhouse Joe Bonamassa.

The first leg of the tour will see Gov’t Mule headlining a select number of dates starting on March 27th in Denver at the Mission Ballroom with a special “Mile High Mule” show. Following this, the band will join forces with longtime friend Joe Bonamassa for an 8-show run from July 29th to August 16th. Fan club presale tickets for all newly announced shows will be available starting on Tuesday, December 9th, with the public on-sale beginning on Friday, December 12th. VIP packages will also be offered for purchase.

Reflecting on the upcoming tour with Joe Bonamassa, Warren Haynes stated, “We’ve played together many times, but this is the first time we’ve ever actually toured together. Really looking forward to it!” The collaboration promises to be a treat for fans of both artists, showcasing their unique blend of blues and rock.

In addition to the tour announcement, Gov’t Mule will be wrapping up 2025 with their annual New Year’s Run in New York. This year’s three-night stand will begin on December 28th in Schenectady before returning to the Beacon Theatre on December 30th and 31st. The special New Year’s Eve show will celebrate the music of 1971, a landmark year in rock music history. Warren Haynes will pay tribute to this iconic era by playing three original guitars from the ’70s, including instruments used by Jerry Garcia, Dickey Betts, and Mike Bloomfield.

Gov’t Mule, comprised of Warren Haynes, Matt Abts, Danny Louis, and Kevin Scott, released their 12th studio album, Peace…Like A River, in 2023 to critical acclaim. The album features guest appearances from Ivan Neville, Ruthie Foster, Billy F Gibbons, Billy Bob Thornton, and Celisse. Since then, Warren Haynes has also released two solo albums, Million Voices Whisper and The Whisper Sessions, showcasing his versatility as an artist.

Looking ahead, Warren Haynes has announced that his annual Christmas Jam will be livestreamed this year on December 13th. The charity event will feature performances from Stone Temple Pilots, MJ Lenderman & The Wind, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, and more, with proceeds benefiting Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity and BeLoved Asheville.

With a stellar lineup of tour dates and exciting projects on the horizon, Gov’t Mule and Warren Haynes are ready to rock the stage in 2026. Don’t miss your chance to catch these legendary musicians in action!
