in, Night In Gales, and many more).

When discussing the new album, drummer and founding member Andy Black highlights the differences from the previous album while expressing his excitement about the upcoming release. The previous album, “Profit Reigns Supreme,” was direct and confrontational, leaving little room for interpretation. The album received public recognition for its clear critique of capitalism, supported visually by Björn Gooßes’ remarkable artwork. In contrast, “Divinity of Lies” aims to explore a more abstract concept, allowing for greater interpretation. The theme of deception and lies has permeated human history, from religious and mythological stories to modern-day politics and social media. The deliberate use of lies for personal gain or deception has become normalized in society, blurring the lines between truth and falsehood. This album aims to delve into the complexities of lies in various contexts, both past and present.

The new album, “Divinity of Lies,” will be available in CD and vinyl formats, with a limited edition collector’s box set also being offered following the previous album’s success. Fans can anticipate the release of the first single, “Rise,” as a prelude to the full album.

Mission In Black, a German melodic death metal band from Baden Württemberg, has been crafting their unique sound since 2010. Combining elements of melodic death metal with thrash influences, their music delivers both aggression and depth. Founded by Andy Flache (drums) alongside Daniel Tschoepe (guitar), Martin Grimm, and Hannes Jäger, the band first gained attention with their 2011 demo, “Black Infect.” Their debut album, “Anthems of a Dying Breed,” solidified their reputation as a compelling live act, leading to the release of their second album, “Profit Reigns Supreme,” in 2018.

Mission In Black’s growing presence in the metal scene was reinforced by their performances at renowned festivals and international tours, supporting bands such as Nightrage and Rage. Beyond their musical endeavors, the band actively engages in charitable causes, serving as ambassadors for the Captain Paul Foundation Germany e.V. since 2024.

The upcoming release of “Divinity of Lies” marks a significant milestone for Mission In Black, showcasing their evolution as a band and their commitment to crafting compelling and meaningful music. With a lineup consisting of Andy “Black” Flache on drums, Eddie Stübner on guitars, Steffi Stuber on vocals, Daniel Tschoepe on guitars, and Simon Schorp on bass, Mission In Black continues to push boundaries and captivate audiences with their modern take on melodic death metal.
