Finnish broadcaster Yle recently announced that Erika Vikman will be making a special appearance at Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu (UMK) 2026, where she will perform her latest single titled “FATHER (I Will Never Confess).” This marks Vikman’s return to the UMK stage, having previously represented Finland at Eurovision 2025 with the song “Ich komme.” Her upcoming appearance is anticipated to be a highlight of the evening, offering fans the opportunity to experience her new song live. Finland claimed its first victory in 2006 with Lordi’s performance of “Hard Rock Hallelujah,” which garnered 292 points.

Erika Vikman’s most recent Eurovision entry, “ICH KOMME,” competed in the 2025 contest, where she qualified for the final and ultimately finished in 11th place with 196 points. Notably, Vikman received 108 points from the televote and 88 points from the jury, showcasing her broad appeal to both audiences and experts in the music industry.
