In a recent interview with BBC Essex’s Sonia Watson, Quatro highlighted that the theme of freedom is central to her new album. She emphasized, “At 75, if I haven’t got freedom, I’ve got nothing.” The upcoming 13-track album, set to be released on March 27th, is a return to Quatro’s original vibe that initially captivated audiences.

Despite her petite stature, Quatro’s impact on the music industry is immense, with 62 years of experience under her belt. She has sold a remarkable 55 million records and achieved chart-topping singles like Can The Can and Devil Gate Drive. Reflecting on her storied career, she shared, “I have nothing left to prove to anyone anymore. It was what I was born to do, and I’ve been so blessed to be successful in my chosen profession.”

Quatro has been based in England since 1971, finding solace in the tranquil surroundings of rural Essex. She finds the serene environment to be a stark contrast to the chaos of show business, describing it as her “balance.” Appreciating the peace and quiet, she noted, “It’s good, this place here is in the middle of nowhere, it’s my balance to the craziness of show business. I can hear how quiet it is.”
