Nothing More has decided to cancel all of their European festival performances scheduled for the summer of 2026 in order to focus on completing their upcoming album. The band took to social media to announce this news, citing the need to wrap up their current record as the reason for pulling out of the festival circuit.

The CARNAL era tour, which included a total of 193 shows across various continents, saw Nothing More performing to some of their largest crowds yet during three separate legs in Europe. Now, band members Jonny Hawkins, Mark Vollelunga, Daniel Oliver, and Ben Anderson are taking a break from touring to recharge and spend time with their families.

In a statement shared online, the group explained their decision, saying, “After a lot of careful consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to step away from our European festival tour this summer to focus on finishing our new album. The CARNAL era has taken us around the world for 193 shows, including three European tours and the biggest crowds of our career. It’s been incredible, but we need this time to recharge, be with our families, and make the best record we can. Thank you for understanding. We’ll see you in 2027 with new music.”

Formed in 2003, Nothing More faced years of challenges and rejections from labels before finding success with their self-titled album in 2014. The band’s lineup solidified when drummer Hawkins transitioned to lead vocals, leading to a breakthrough in their career. After signing a five-album deal with Eleven Seven Music, their self-titled release spawned hits like “This is the Time (Ballast),” which topped Mediabase Active Rock charts and reached number two on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart.

Their follow-up album, The Stories We Tell Ourselves, released in 2017, garnered three GRAMMY nominations. Despite canceling their 2026 European festival tour, Nothing More is gearing up for a return to Europe in 2027 with new music in store, although specific tour dates have not been announced yet.

As the band takes a break from the road to focus on their music, fans can anticipate what Nothing More has in store for their next album release. Stay tuned for more updates and tour announcements as the band prepares to hit the stage with fresh tracks in the coming year.
