Dwarves announce ‘Jenkem’ details and upcoming tour dates.
The Dwarves are gearing up for the release of their upcoming album, “Jenkem,” and have also announced a string of tour dates to support the record. Set to drop on June 5 through Greedy/MVD, the album was carefully crafted by the band’s very own lead singer, Blag Dahlia, and Recorded and Mixed by Andy Carpenter, known for his work with Supersuckers, Strung Out, and Screeching Weasel.
With a total of 13 tracks, “Jenkem” promises to deliver the same raw energy and intense aggression that characterized the early days of punk merging with thrash. Keeping it simple and focused, the album pays homage to the band’s most confrontational period, drawing inspiration from their ferocious “Blood, Guts, & Pussy” era while pushing their edgy, nihilistic vibe even further. Additionally, The Dwarves have exciting plans to drop some 7-inch singles alongside the album release.
In addition to the album news, fans will be thrilled to know that The Dwarves have lined up an extensive list of tour dates to bring their music to audiences across various cities. Spanning from Portland, OR to Los Angeles, CA, and even internationally in places like Barcelona, Spain, and Utrecht, NL, the band is set to hit the road in a big way. Notable performances include free shows and appearances at various festivals, providing fans with plenty of opportunities to catch The Dwarves live in action.
With a schedule packed full of high-energy performances and a new album on the way, The Dwarves are certainly showing no signs of slowing down. Fans of the band and punk music enthusiasts alike won’t want to miss out on the chance to experience the raw power and unapologetic attitude that The Dwarves bring to the stage. Stay tuned for more updates and be sure to catch them live when they come to a city near you.
