Special reissue of Audioslave classic coming this summer!
Fans of the alternative sound of Audioslave will soon have a special treat with the upcoming reissue of the band’s second album, “Out Of Exile”. Scheduled for release on June 12, the album will be available in two versions: a standard black vinyl edition and a limited edition black liquid vinyl pressing inspired by the album’s original cover art. Featuring the explosive vocals of Chris Cornell, the album saw him team up with Tom Morello, Tim Commerford, and Brad Wilk of Rage Against The Machine after the breakup of Soundgarden.
“Out Of Exile” made a significant impact upon its release, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album’s success was fueled by hit singles such as “Doesn’t Remind Me”, which earned a Grammy nomination for “Best Hard Rock Performance”, and “Be Yourself”, which topped Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart. Chris Cornell himself considered “Out Of Exile” to be his most introspective and autobiographical work, reflecting his journey through sobriety and personal growth.
The track listing for “Out Of Exile” includes a compelling array of songs spread across two LPs. LP 1 features tracks such as “Your Time Has Come,” “Out Of Exile,” “Be Yourself,” “Doesn’t Remind Me,” “Drown Me Slowly,” and “Heaven’s Dead.” On LP 2, listeners can enjoy songs like “The Worm,” “Man Or Animal,” “Yesterday To Tomorrow,” “Dandelion,” “#1 Zero,” and “The Curse.” Each song captures the unique blend of musical talents that made Audioslave such a beloved band among fans of alternative rock.
The reissue of “Out Of Exile” offers longtime Audioslave fans the opportunity to experience this iconic album in a whole new way. Whether you’re nostalgic for the band’s signature sound or discovering their music for the first time, this special release promises to be a memorable addition to any music collection.
