This limited-edition collection commemorates the 60 years since Hendrix first plugged into a Marshall amplifier, a moment that forever changed the landscape of rock music.
Crafted in the spirit of Hendrix’s unmistakable style and cosmic aesthetic, the collection features a redesigned Acton III Bluetooth speaker, a 1959 JMH Half Stack, and a limited-edition Fuzz Face® pedal. Inspired by Hendrix’s love of velvet, silver jewelry, and his fascination with space and science fiction, the Acton III Bluetooth speaker is coated in crushed velvet, with a silver control panel adorned with purple knobs and LED lights. The speaker bears the iconic all-seeing eye symbol, embodying clarity and vision and immersing fans in Jimi’s universe with a new on-off sound inspired by his recordings.
The 1959 JMH Half Stack offers the same high-gain distortion tones that Hendrix used to shape rock history. The handwired Angled Cabinet and Handwired Head deliver tight low-end frequencies, a powerful mid-range punch, and stunning highs. With black and purple cosmic swirls adorning the fret and control panel, silver jewelry-inspired detailing, including knobs, handle, logo, and grill, captures Hendrix’s essence. Handcrafted in the Bletchley Marshall factory in the UK, each Half Stack is meticulously constructed with quality plywood and wrapped in black Tolex, showcasing Marshall’s dedication to craftsmanship.
Accompanying the Half Stack is Dunlop’s limited-edition Fuzz Face® Distortion pedal, featuring a unique oil-on-water design reminiscent of Hendrix’s snarling, snappy tones. This pedal allows fans to recreate the legendary guitarist’s signature sound and style with ease. Guitarist Zach Person’s exploration of Seattle, Hendrix’s birthplace, and his electrifying performance using the stack in a new film capture the essence of Hendrix’s influence and legacy.
