IGORRR is set to embark on an extensive North American headlining tour this upcoming fall. The innovative musical project will kick off their tour on September 18th in Worcester, Massachusetts, and will conclude the month-long journey on October 20th in Toronto, Ontario. Joining IGORRR on this musical expedition will be the avant-garde ensemble, Secret Chiefs 3, led by guitarist and composer Trey Spruance of Mr. Bungle fame, as well as the Osaka-based experimental electronic black metal group, VMO, also known as Violent Magic Orchestra.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the upcoming tour, IGORRR’s mastermind, Gautier Serre shared, “We’ve been waiting to come back to the US for a long time now. The last tour was so intense that we’ve been extremely impatient for the opportunity to play for the people there again. We’ll see you on the road — very excited for that!”

With tickets already on sale through their website, IGORRR has provided a list of confirmed tour dates, ensuring that eager fans have an opportunity to secure their spot at a venue near them.

The tour will support IGORRR’s fifth studio album, “Amen,” which was released to critical acclaim last fall through Metal Blade Records. Renowned for his unclassifiable style and boundless creativity, French multi-instrumentalist and producer, Gautier Serre, the creative force behind IGORRR, has been crafting sonic masterpieces under this moniker for two decades. Each new release continues to astonish and captivate listeners with its revolutionary approach.

Commenting on the distinctiveness of “Amen,” Serre stated, “This album is definitely darker than its predecessors, it has such a very weighty and solemn vibe that has never been reached before in IGORRR. The fact that I recorded a real choir in a church helped this a lot, but above all there has been very long and meticulous work on the sound and the choice of instruments, and deep experimental research to create a unique sound design.”

While explaining his creative process, Serre emphasized the difficulty in determining the exact sources of inspiration. He asserted that music is an expression of life and draws inspiration from a myriad of experiences and stimuli, both significant and seemingly insignificant. Serre’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of the music he creates is evident in the dynamic and eclectic nature of IGORRR’s discography.

As fans eagerly await the commencement of IGORRR’s North American tour, they can continue immersing themselves in the diverse and captivating sounds that this innovative musical project has to offer. Don’t miss the opportunity to witness IGORRR’s groundbreaking live performances that promise to be a unique and unforgettable experience for all in attendance.
